Welcome Back to The Hip Hop Push Blog. Wishing a happy return to school for many families, especially in the Northeast. Today, I’ve got the spotlight on an artist by the name of Rollin’ Solow. She is an artist on Wiccid Lo’s “2Tempted ENT” record label. Wiccid & Solow released a project called “Bonnie & Clyde 2020,” a few years ago.

Judging from her music alone, there are many faces of Rollin’ Solow. She has a high pitched rap delivery that comes off sweet and charming, and another that comes off ferocious & intimidating. Solow is very knowledgeable on which to place where, as to get the maximum effect of her message & her sound.


One of the other things I have noticed about Solow is the depth to which she reps New Mexico. In “The First Of Many,” & in other songs, Solow takes on the persona of a rap version of the local newsperson. In “Run Away,” she educated the listener on the “West Mesa Murders:” the slaying of eleven women whose remains were found buried in 2009 in the desert on the
West Mesa of Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was something I did not know about. 

Of course, I couldn’t discuss Rollin’ Solow without touching on the things dear to her heart: car culture- especially Cadillacs- marijuana, tattoos, & pit bulls.

When she first hit the page, a plethora of views followed,


leading The Hip Hop Push to elevate her to “Feature” status. She is a unique character and it’s been a pleasure covering her on The Hip Hop Push.
