In my last writing, I was discussing an artist by the name of Wiccid Lo.
and his label, “2Tempted Ent.” The Ep, “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME,” from Wiccid Lo and Chino Loc 1, was released earlier this month.

Today, I wanted to point your attention to a song that Wiccid Lo dropped alongside a 2Tempted Ent Artist who goes by the name of, “Bank$.”

Bank$ & Wiccid Lo are both artists residing in Florida. He doesn’t rap as fast as either Wiccid Lo, or Tucson, AZ artist Bodybag Tha Zipper, but he displays a sense of humor and an air of proverbial wisdom to distinguish himself as an artist.
I like what he has released so far, but the song entitled, “Dead Presidents” is perfection, in my opinion, from both parties.

If you always talk about loyalty, you’s a phony/
The old me/
Done sunk in a ship the homies sold me…/
-Bank$

Originally, I heard Bank$’ verse to the song. In the video, he spreads his money on the base of the hot tub as if it was cream cheese to a bagel, rubs his hands together like Birdman standing in a mirror, and bops along to the tempo of the beat. Later on, he brings our his signature recording stand and headphones. Fun Vibes.

I had no idea that was only Bank$’ verse to this song until ’bout a week ago. When Wiccid Lo dropped the video with his verse, blacked down in a dark t, fitted, and dark shades with some gold chains, I fell in love with the concept of his verse, the flow, and the delivery.

Black hoodie, duffel back, nights in the trap shit/
Block money/ stick dummy- lick with the the gat shit/
cuz child support raping you/ minimum wage raping you/
the new kitch you got high maintenance and she raping you….

-Wiccid Lo

The Subject matter is so similar within the 2 verses: 2 artists describing the pursuit of a greater legacy through the differences of their eyes, and it goes together! While Banks explains the paradoxes of “getting it out the mud” bootstrap- style hustle culture, ( “Focused on touching a millie without a price on me”) Wiccid tells the tale of the common man: paying child support during a time where inflation is at its highest in 40 years, the mentality of survival in a country that has a Federal minimum wage that is not adjusted along with Inflation. As I cover his song, “Civil Unrest,” and other releases later, it will become more evident that Wiccid Lo is for The People.

That being said, Enjoy “Dead Presidents” from Bank$ & Wiccid Lo,

Also, be on the lookout for my new post next week. Do Remember to check out that “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME” EP  from Wiccid Lo and Chino Loc 1.

Until Next Time,
